Freedom Air Charter is a Part 135 Air Carrier under the RNC Air Services Flag dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism and customer service. The pilot-in-command of each flight is required to complete recurrent training at Flight Safety International once each year and must pass flight checks specified by the Federal Aviation Administration twice each year. Captain Chris Castillo is Freedom Air Charter’s Chief Pilot. Chris has logged over 4500 hours with a major domestic all weather air cargo carrier and as a Captain and line pilot of a major air ambulance carrier.

Perfect Peace of Mind

Freedom Air Charter’s commitment to safety is evident in its impressive array of advanced avionics. All of our aircraft’s navigation radios consist of Garmin 430/530 GPS/WAAS and VOR units with at least one HSI, two Glide Slope Indicators and an RMI. Its avionics include the Century 4 Flight Control System, the Garmin Terrain Awareness Warning System, an Garmin Multi-Function Display, depicting real time satellite weather, the Skywatch Collision Avoidance System, Color Radar, and a Stormscope. All aircraft have two full-size Artificial Horizons for the pilot (one vacuum, one electric), an electric Turn and Bank for the pilot, and an electric Artificial Horizon and vacuum Turn and Bank for the copilot.

All aircraft are highly visible at night. Strobe lights have been installed on each wingtip, pulsating recognition lights are located in each cowling and floodlights illuminate the vertical stabilizer. All aircraft are certified for flight into known-icing conditions.
